oud and the sitar.  The Guitarist's Apprentice stretches beyond the borders of China, Japan, India, Arabia as well as meditative and jazz forms.  Mark Berland has a reservoir of creativity through a rich and eclectic inner muse.

Over the last four years he has recorded 80 songs at Dan Cantor's "Notable Productions" in Watertown, MA.  Twelve of the songs are ready to go and hope to be available by the end of winter. The songs cover blues, folk, rock, reggae and rap. You will hear love, vaudevillian comedy, political, and environmental concerns sung like no other person out there. Currently, you can find two songs on You Tube:  "Pistachio Orgasm" and "Silver Bullet - The Mom Song"  on You Tube. They are all worth the Listen.

In the future, there will be quite the collection of entertainment on the web for music, art, comedy, political talk, yoga instruction and a myriad of healing tutorials and instruction.

So if you are feeling a vacuum or void in the music world, then give Mark Berland a listen.
